As Bill Sees It
A meeting where discussion are based on readings from the
book "As Bill Sees It."

Big Book Meeting
A meeting formatted to study the book "Alcoholics Anonymous"
the basic text of A.A.
C
Closed Meeting
Only for persons who qualify for A.A. membership.  When
considering attending closed meetings, you are asked to apply
A.A.'s Third Tradition, which states; "The only requirement for
membership is a desire to stop drinking.

Chairman's Choice
The meeting format is the choice of the chairperson.
D
Discussion Meeting
A meeting organized as a general discussion of topics relating
to alcoholism / staying sober.
F
Film
A meeting where discussions are based upon a film shown at
the meeting.
G
Grapevine Meeting
A meeting where discussion are based on articles from the
"Grapevine", A.A.'s monthly publication.

Handicap-Accessible
A meeting place accessible.

Joe & Charlie Meeting
A meeting where discussions are based on a Joe & Charlie
tape played at the meeting.

Language of the Heart
A meeting where discussions are based upon a reading from
the book; "Language of the Heart."

Consists of members who tell their story of what it was like,

Anonymous.

A meeting formatted to study the 12 Traditions of Alcoholics
Anonymous.

A meeting with discussion after GSO-approved tape played at

A meeting for women.

12 Step & Tradition Mtg
A meeting formatted to study the book "Twelve Steps and
Twelve Traditions", a book written by one of our co-founders to
further explain the process of recovery from alcoholism
through A.A.
District 18 is the local service arm of A.A.  Groups located in Macoupin, Montgomery,
Madison, Bond, Greene, Jersey and Calhoun Counties.

District 14 is the local service arm of A.A.  Groups located in St. Clair, Monroe and small
portions of Randolph and Washington Counties.
