Happy April everyone! Spring has sprung, but we certainly would not know it by the weather outside. We have dedicated this month's theme to Spring! We hope it brightens everyone's day. There are many events going on this April. We have a Black Lite Bingo, a few Craft Shows, and a Safety Inspection event for your child's car seats and boosters seats. The Old Six Mile Museum will be having a community yard sale and open air market later this month, you won't want to miss this one. Scroll through this month's home page to see what is going on in Granite City. We even have "Mouse Races" this month! Also, send us your non-profit events, birthday and anniversary announcements and we will include them on our home page free of charge. It's almost time to start those gardens! |
We'd love for all of our supporters to come out to the Animal Control building and meet our volunteers and our animals. You can get a glimpse of what we do, have some delicious food, and maybe even adopt a dog or cat (or bunny!) while you're there. We will be welcoming T Mo's Tacos, Paytin's Cookies and More, and one other pending food vendor who will be selling their goodies out in the parking lot, and we'll have the building open for the public. Please mark this event on your calendar now and plan to come out and see us! |
