BAKED CHICKEN TWO WAYS

WAY #1:  Chicken is floured and oven-browned, then undiluted cream of
mushroom or chicken soup is spread on top and baked right into the
chicken.



1/4 C. butter, melted
1/4 C. flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
dash paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
chicken parts
1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup

Preheat oven to 425 degrees Pour butter in 9 X 13" pan. Place flour and
spices in a plastic bag. Add a few chicken pieces at a time, shake to
coat.  Place chicken skin side down in baking dish. Bake uncovered 30
min. Turn. Bake 20 min.  Spread soup over chicken. Bake 325 degrees 20
min. or until browned.



WAY #2:  Cream of chicken or mushroom soup is mixed with a soup can of
water, poured over the chicken, then baked.  The sauce is great when
served over mashed potatoes.

Chicken parts, washed
Garlic powder
1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
1 soup can water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Sprinkle chicken with garlic powder.
Place in a single layer in a 9 X 13" pan.  In a small bowl, mix the soup
with the water. Pour over the chicken.  Cover and bake one hour.
