CARAMEL CORN

Makes 8 quarts.  This makes lots, but you'll need lots because it is so
good.  Serve when you have several guests.

Ingredients

1 C. white sugar
1 C. brown sugar
1/2 C. light corn syrup
2 sticks butter
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
pinch cream of tartar
8 qts, popped popcorn

Directions

Preheat oven.
Place white and brown sugar, syrup and butter in a
saucepan, bring to a boil and cook 5 min.
Remove from heat and stir in the
baking soda and cream of tartar.  
Pour this over the popcorn, stir.
Bake
1 hour, stirring occasionally.
