Please re-elect
DON HARRIS
for
Chouteau Township Highway Commissioner

Meet Don Harris,
the incumbent candidate
for Chouteau Township Highway
Commissioner.

Don is running with the
Chouteau Citizens 2009 Party
in the consolidated election on
April 7, 2009.

He is seeking re-election after four
years of dedicated service to the
citizens of Chouteau Township.

During his time as
Highway Commissioner, Don has
coordinated the refurbishment of the
Township garage building and
grounds, the refurbishment of township
equipment and made preventing and
the clean up of illegal dumping in the
township a priority.

RE-ELECT DON HARRIS IN
APRIL!
Don Harris is a thirty year citizen
of Chouteau Township.

He retired from the Shell Oil Company
after twenty one years of proud service.
Prior to working for Shell, he worked
for the United State Postal System.

He served nine and a half years in the
United States Marine Corp, and retired on
a medical retirement.

Don and his wife Linda have been married
for forty three years, and have three
children, eight grandchildren and one great
grand child.

Regarding the new advertisement submitted by my opponent in the contest
for Chouteau Township Highway Commissioner.

Again, thank you for caring enough about our area to graciously accept these ads
from the candidates.  This is a great service you offer.

He and I have both been out putting up signs and starting the ball "rolling".
In the last election, I made up my mind not to attack or try to smear my opposition.  I
have chosen the same mode for this campaign.  Having said that,  my opponent has
started off with some very misleading tactics.  I WILL be addressing these as they
come about.

His ad on this site states that he "helps out" at the CNV
Pump Station, as if he is doing some type of charity work.  Very MISLEADING -- This
is a paid job. He then goes on to talk about "the condition of the pumps"  as if the
Township has somehow failed to correct this, or has the responsibility or authority to
do so. This is a problem of the CNV, and I can assure you it is being addressed and
pursued with a vengeance by HELEN HAWKINS,  and she does not let go.

As for the roads and our streets being maintained properly......I would like for him to
explain where he will buy an asphalt paving machine and a base pulverizer for
starters.  Maybe he knows more about budgets than I do.

He is deceptive in the signs he has posted.  The major political parties, (both notified
by certified mail)  declined to hold a caucus and therefore neither fielded a candidate.

THERE ARE NO REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES
IN THIS ELECTION.

AGAIN he is devious and deceptive.

I can see where this could be too lengthly....I apologize and I will inform further in
