...to Gateway Stables A friendly, family farm, established in 1990 by Kelly Staley. Gateway Stables is a charming, rustic facility, with old-fashioned comforts, but modern conveniences! We are conveniently located in Pontoon Beach, Illinois and offer a relaxed, uncrowded and safe atmosphere for both boarding and lessons. Gateway Stables is a well equipped schooling facility offering classically correct English equitation lessons for beginners and beyond. Our flexible schedule allows our students to progress at their own comfortable pace, in private or group settings. We offer an established group of seasoned lesson horses and ponies, suitable for all levels of experience. Gateway Stables offers a well maintained, dust free, indoor arena with mirrors and good footing. Our 120 x 220 outdoor arena is grass and sand and is suitable for Dressage or jumping. Kelly is a CHA Level III instructor who has been classically trained by top instructors in both the United States and England. She has been teaching successful riders since 1990 in centered hunt seat, emphasizing proper equitation and communication, resulting in an independent seat ready for any discipline. |
