Rachel's Peanut Butter Fudge


1/2 pound of velveeta cheese (cut up)
1 Cup of REAL butter ( 2 sticks)
1 Cup of creamy peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 Cup of chopped walnuts or pecans
2 (16 ounce) boxes of powdered sugar


In a large sauce pan melt the velveeta cheese & butter over medium
heat. Stir until smooth.
Add in the cup of peanut butter and mix until creamy and smooth.
REMOVE from heat.
Add in the tsp. of vanilla and the nuts. Stir until well blended.
In a large mixing bowl put both boxes of powdered sugar. Pour the
peanut butter mixture into the powdered sugar.
With very clean hands mix thoroughly. The candy will still be hot.

In a  9 x 13 buttered dish or pan, pat the mixture down.
Refrigerate until firm.
Cut into squares. Makes about 36 pieces. ENJOY!!!  

You may want to pat the top of the candy with a paper towel after
putting into the pan.
