| Silverfros Root Beer Cone from Barney's on Madison Avenue |
| This root beer cone was found in the attic steel rafters at the Granite City High School. It was above the north end of the building where the chemistry classes were, which was erected in the 50's. Most likely an ironworker wandered across the street to Barney's and finished his tasty root beer while sitting in that attic waiting to return to work. Sparky Eddleman came along over 40 years later and found it while tearing down what that ironworker had erected. |
