She was born December 18, 1942 in Mount Vernon, Illinois, a daughter of the late Carlos and Betty (Jones) LeVault. She married her high school sweetheart, Julius Horvath on February 4, 1959 in Chester, Illinois and he survives. Being a mother, she could pat you several times and make your pains go away or give you the courage to succeed. The mother of seven children, she found it in her heart to take in foster children whom needed much love. In her younger life, Betty Jo worked as a loan processor with several different companies. She was an ace for finding hard to get parts for her husband. Currently she was the resident manager and co owner for Pontoon 5 Star Storage. She served on the Class of 1960 Granite City High School Reunion Committee. She was always cooking for her large family and you couldn't resister her chicken and dumplings, sausage dressing and chocolate pie. She enjoyed hummingbirds, reading, get togethers with the girls and tending to her flower garden. She also knew how to manage and be thrifty during the rough times. She will be remembered for the love and special times she shared with her family and friends and she will be greatly missed. Love, Family and Friends |
